Penny Black Saturday/MDP2

I have made this card for this weeks PBSC the theme is In The Gardenand I thought this image would be perfect!

Instead of matting and layering the DP's I went round the edges with a promarker (yep you guessed it POppY!) to give the effect of layering whilst still keeping the designs showing on the paper.............

This card is my entry for Mo DP" challenge the theme is babies but I think this would make a nice childs/baby rememberance card...

this is the first time I have tried to colour the whole of the background and I feel it turned out quite well for my first attempt.....

ONE STOP CARD CRAFTS

This card is 4.5 inches square I love making cards of this size at the moment they are so sweet went for a minimal look with this card the paper was originally just black and white but I soon sorted that out with a promarker (pear), the sweet image was a freebie from a stamp set that came free with 'Papercraft essentials' this month left black and white with just a little splash of the pear colour and some decoupage on the flower for some added interest . The gems I added are green to but it doesn't show too well in the photo...

Ok this week it is Helene's challengeand she would like you to either make a tag or use a tag on your project..............

I made this tag using a plain chipboard tag from a sheet of woodware chippies circles/ tags I got from the Glitter Pot

I covered the chippie with papers from the pretty please range from my minds eye then coloured the 'HI' again plain chippies with my promarkers and added a bit of bling,

I inked round the edge of the circle and added a little piece of ribbon to finish......

Early Bird Penny Black Saturday!

I have been up since half six this morning I blame it on the fact that that is my usual alarm time since my shifts changedat work that and having the windows open and a grand version of the dawn chorus out side my window lol.........

At PBSC this week they are asking for lots of dots which is just perfect as my Polka dots paper stack (Wild Rose studios) came this week in my order from the Glitter Pot.....

The flowers are a mix of Prima e-line and paperroses from wild Orchid crafts,the image as always is coloured with my trusty pro-markers although I have to admit it was an image I had pre-coloured..........

I hope the weather is as gorgeous where you are as it is in Leeds have a fantastic weekend!!!

Happy Birthday to us....

Today it is Allsorts 1st Birthday we have been setting challenges now for a year and boy has it flown!

To celebrate we are having a birthday blog hop with some surprise stops on the way ....I wont spoil any surprises but keep your eyes peeled on the blog as you may need to pick up something on the way

Penny Black Saturday Challenge....Yipee!

I was just checking all the lovely challenges to get my teeth into this week when I visited the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and saw that I was a winner in their 100 th post blog hop last week and won A fab prize from Simply create!!!!

I am over the moon..... :)

So to celebrate I got straight on with this weeks Challenge which is flowers

This is a smaller sized card which is approx 4.5 inches square The dp is from a fab K and co pad which I have had for ages from the designer Amy Butler,

The image is a stickeroo this is the first time I have used them and I quite like them.... the flowers are prima e line, finished off with some small diamante gems.

Penny Black saturday and Whiff of joy......

I'm back with 2 of the commission cards I was making earlier the first one i'm entering in the PBSC and there is a fab blog hop and sketch to follow this week.

This card is for my dad its my Mums birthday on monday and he has always called her Heathcliffe from the song wuthering heights (her name is Cathy so I get that bit but Heathcliffe is the man so i've never really got it but it means stuff to them lol....)

Image is from the in the garden set from penny black flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the papers are from K and co.......

This card is for the WOJ challenge and there is a sketch to follow there too this card is for a party i'm going to this evening the birthday girl has Auburn hair and will be wearing cream and black hence the colour combo of her outfit...........

This time flowers are prima and the random gems on the image are covering a smudge :p

Allsorts Challenge 51!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick post guys i'm in the middle of some commission cards and reaslised I hadnt scheduled my DT card for Allsorts Doh!

This week the lovely Amanda gave us a great Sketch to work with

Isnt this image sweet its on of my new Penny Blacks from the 'In the garden' set so sweet peeping out of his basket.....

Papers were some old Kand co 12 x 12 I found in my stash and the flowers are prima I lov ethe colour of these just like milk choc yum!!
