Just wanted to share my card for this weeks PBSC which is Floral Frenzy

now I really struggle with flowers mainly because I don't have enough so when I do use them they are a little mismatched which I know looks fab on some crafters cards but I never seem to get the hang of making those beautiful clusters so first on my priority list (as well as getting the fab new stamps from craftwork cards for printing text on card candy) is a shopping trip to wild orchid crafts for some new flowers and some from prima too...if anyone could recommend a store they get them from id love to hear about it or if you can recommend a good flower die or punch :)

This week I've been making some mega quick birthday cards to pop in my card box also using up odd squares of paper and off cuts to try and be a bit more rescourceful

Not the most amazing cards I know but still not bad just made from scraps and perfect for that quick card you need in an instant

Well after al the Christmas cards and Christmas fayre items that were made in the craftroom before Christmas it looks like a bomb went off and I couldn't ignore it any longer so thought i'd share some before and after pics with you.....

Total mess!! I nearly shut the door and walked straight out

not sure if you can see but its not decorated and still has the sketches of Jacks room on the walls he was staying in here until we decided to make it my craft room....so for now I have stuck all the handmade cards I receive from friends and fellow crafters to the main desk wall hopefully if you sent me one this is where it will be living there are one or two to go up from Christmas but they are downstairs

Its like a personal gallery :)

And after much cleaning a full black bag of stuff and lots of recovered stash i didnt know I had here are this Saturdays results....

Allsorts - Needles and pins

My DT card for Allsorts today is a little out of the ordinary for me as I decided on a colour I hardly ever use Blue!!!! and the theme id needles and pins....

Not too keen on her hair colour never get blonde quite right but im quite liking that the base card has been raised of the card blank and so has the border strip I was trying to acheive some depth..........

Celebration of Nations - Allsorts

Hello and good morning !!!

cant believe we are almost to the middle of January already the time is rushing us all by....

This weeks challenge at Allsorts is

a celebration of Nations

My Card is sort of British flag colours and football themed rolled into one I wanted to do somewhere a little bit further a field but Mr Mojo decided to do a midnight flit on tuesday and this is the result!

The image is a cute square from LOTV and I recoloured his shirt a football take from the net and some embroidery thread (Bargain!!!!!) picked it up at my local £1 shop it came with 20 skeins of pastels and bright threads :)

Good Morning

Another quickie post from me i'm afraid as in an hour or so we'll be setting off out for the day for my Sons birthday which includes Cinema, shopping, Frankie and Benny's and Arcades so Me and Ian will be cream Krackered later lol!!

onto my card for this weeks Allsorts challenge which is

Paper Piecing

This is the cards for Jacks birthday which actually is tomorrow but thought Saturday was a better day for going out tommorow will be a family day with Just Dance and cake lol!

This a photo from a few years a go when Jack was about 5 I love this photo we were on Holiday in Ibiza and he had fallen and the lovely guy behind the bar of the hotel brought him a cup of warm milk made in the frother of the coffee machine to help cheer him up ( we were into our second week and he knew Jack loved warm milk but made it extra frothy for him hence the milk froth moustache and stuck together eyelashes from crying, bless they grow up so fast!!!!)

The image is a new PB stamp I got in Harrogate in September and until now had been uninked (slapped wrist!!!) the papers are MME from the robots collection and all the card is pearlescent and amazing quality from Craftwork Cards a few die cut and embossed stars and of course I paper pieced the kite the body of the cat is also layered but its difficult to see here, last embelishments are the good old faithful, Card candy from CC this is the white one which is pearlescent and I just coloured them to match with alcohol markers .

I'd like to enter this into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge they have a case it challenge

HI guys well Christmas is almost upon us only 8 sleeps till the big day

Allsorts DT it takes two

This week at Allsorts the theme is take 2 use only two colours on your card

As you can see I used RED and GREEN and the image is a penny black stamp i was bought last year the papers are first edition and the border is Martha Stewart quick post this morning as I'm being picked up in an hour as I have a stall at the local craft fair :)

but before I go have you seen these new Restickable Tabs from Scotch they are great for positioning embelishments while your deciding where they should go and they are repositionable and reusable too i use mine for putting my cards i have received from friends up around my craftroom walls and when I fancy a change they come off really easily and they are ready to go again you can find more info HERE

Good morning hope you have had a lovely week and are looking forward to something nice this weekend!

Another challenge kicks off over at Allsorts this weeks its Helenes challenge and she would like to see a project using Pennants/Bunting

This challenge was sooo good for me as I got to use my whimsey stamps bunting die that I bought at Harrogate in September

I have just used the small straight pennant today but cant wait to layer them up!!!

I have used the beautiful winter miss Anya from The Greeting Farm I have two different sets of these stamps and they are always great ones to come back to.

Allsorts - one layer

Good morning sorry for my absence from the Allsorts DT last week but I was so bogged down with work and home stuff I didnt get chance to make a card!!

This week however im back and at Allsorts this week we are asking for one layer .....thats right one layer no matting no layering ahhhh I hear you cry but go on have a try you might be surprised with what you come up with :)

this is Henry from WOJ this is one of last years stamps but he was certainly not used enough so here he is with a bit of faux layering by running a red Promarker round the edge of the card and then adding green on top to look like a darker shade of red .

Coloured with promarkers (of course) and the sentiment is from Elzybells (sadly this store closed a while back now)

OK now its your turn cant wait to see your one layered cards

Back again this time with my GDT card

for Penny Black and More @ Allsorts

The theme is All Creatures Great and Small

This is one of my new PB stamps from Harrogate and its quite a big image so just some nice papers and I stamped the sentiment onto acetate (as it was quite large and once i had mounted it would have covered a lot of those pretty papers) and fixed it on with pinflair adding pearls to hide the glue.

The seam binding double bow is so easy and effected I got the idea from the lovely Kath which you can see HERE on her blog.

Allsorts Week 126 - Halloween

This week at Allsorts the theme is Halloween
we want to see your spooky creations!

This card was made with a bargain I bought at the Harrogate show the 12 x 12 set of My Minds Eye papers were £1.50 for the pack!!!! and to top it off the 12 x 12 sheet of chipboard shapes was £1.00 total bargain great for halloween but also fab for boys birthday cards too!
Different style of card today and the photo does not do the dark card any justice it is a deep brown pearlescent card from Craftworkcards its such amazing quality and its just perfect for your embossing folders as it gives the crispest embossed patterns ive seen with no tearing or creasing!!

Allsorts Week 125 - Lavender and Lace

Good Morning!

Time for this weeks Allsorts challenge, the theme this week is

LAVENDER and LACE

A little tough for me this week as purple tones are the one colour that I find most difficult to work with and it's rare to find purple stuff in my stash too lol don't get me wrong I love purple as a colour but it doesn't like me lol ..... Cute squares to the rescue again this week with this gorgeous pre-coloured image, right back to making more stock for a ladies night we are having at our local club to raise money for our junior rugby section.
Photos are still shocking i'm afraid really need to start taking them in the daylight but to be fair theres not much about at the moment!!

ALLSORTS Week 124 - Show us your bears

Good Morning

Wow the weeks are really flying by nowalready in October! well at least this week it certainly feels like October now the weather has decided to catch up lol!

This week at Allsorts the theme is
SHOW US YOUR BEARS
time to get out all those cutie images and work your magic with them....

I used my forever friends christmas/winter stamp and made a tag...

The tag is die cut and the papers are from my stash cant remember who by though so if anyone recognises them give me a shout:)
I used my new marranne designs die this set comes with two christmas bauble decorations star and bauble and the star is my fav under the gold bell (yes i heat embossed that too lol) is a tiny tag although you cant see it very well everything is embossed with gold embossing powder including the snowflake punched border and tiny tag, to give the tiny tag a bit of interest I went to the depths of my stash draws and found some small floral peel offs and stuck one on the tag before I put versamark on then took off peel off and the sprinkled with embossing powder to leave the shape of the flower on the tiny tag.
Some green organza ribbon to finish to match the image and thats my tag for this weeks Allsorts Challenge

Good Morning

Its time for another Allsorts challenge and its Nicolas turn to choose her first theme she chose

ALTER /RECYCLE

Great theme for clearing away al those thgings you kept but you didnt know why....

I decided to RECYCLE these two old bracelets the elastic had gone but didnt want to throw them out...

So I cut the elastis and used the seed and bugal beads for the shaker elements of my card...

The image is a penny black slapstick stamp which has three mice standing under a lantern but I masked the others off so it would fit in my shaker window,

A few die cut elements and my beads (not the best pic im afraid)

Flowers and Swirls

I used a new teqnique this week and removed a section of the base card using the image and the swirls to connect the two halfs together tried to keep as much white space as I could and used my last (sniff) sunflower so another order to wild orchid crafts is on the cards lol!

A very sweet image from Crafters Companion this is Lottie isnt she sweet!

Right im off to get ready if I get time ill report back when I get home from the show!!!!!

This week I went through my stash and found a goody bag from Craftworkcards everything as always so well co-ordinated so I couldnt really go wrong!!

The 'frame' was made by die cutting an apature from the design paper mounting it onto a black card blank and then adding the diecut flowers into it, some liquid pearls and a sentiment from lili of the valley and I was done simple, quick but quite effective....

we are still on with the Free and Easy theme this month and my card this week is my brothers birthday card now he doesnt do fussy and is not a very fussy person so this CAS inspired card along with his love of Little Big Planet and remaking music videos with his friend it was the inspiration for this clean and very simple card

I used my graphics programme to edit 'sackboy' into the corner of my cardstock then simply cut out mounted on a peice of co-ordinating cardstock and that was it

Still using my Iphone to take pics and its not too clever but hey ho!, the image is a pretty gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie and I just made a simple background from scraps in my scrap drawer i'm pretty pleased with the overall look.

wel I scratched my head a bit thinking what on earth did I have that would be suitable!!!

.......Well not in my neck in the woods there hasnt been we have had beautiful sunshine this week.....

APRIL SHOWERS

This was one of my first WOJ images and she is so beautiful the papers are Basic Grey (offbeat)

a bit of layering this week and some decoupage on the umbrella, dont zoom in though because the photo quality is terrible using my iphone at the moment and i havn't the steadiest of hands lol!

To colour I used a mix of promarkers and prismacolour premier pens....

off to enjoy the rest of my Hols as I am on annual leave until the 2nd May bliss!!!!

Its that time again, time for another challenge at Allsorts and this week its my challenge and I chose a sketch

The embossed panels were acetate not something i'd normally use but I didnt want to cover up those beautiful spring papers a few blooms and pearls to finish....not my usual style but I felt the image called for something a little different.

Good morning and I hope the weather is warm and sunny where you are we have had some great weather this week in Leeds and long may it continue.....

Ok onto this weeks card for Allsorts, Fleur would like you to make a card thats

'anything but a square'

so this was a chance for me to play with my new nesties that I got from Harrogate GNPE

I am realy pleased with the shape and the nesties are now my favourite the papers are from a DCWV pack I think I may have to check....

The image is the beautiful pen pal from sugar nellie and this image is one of the reasons i love Aquamarkers the colours stay so vibrant something I have trouble with with normal water colours.. a quick LOTV sentiment stamp and some prima and e-line flowers to finish.

Blooming Blossoms

I'm not cross with flowers today Blooming Blossoms is the name of Brendas challenge over at Allsorts

and we have the fab Digistamp Boutique sponsoring us again as its the first challenge of the month...

I went for a CAS inspired card as the image is so delicate I didnt want to take anything away from it, I coloured the image with water colour pencils and with a slightly damp brush (so as not to smudge my printer ink) dragged he colour out slightly added afew pearls and some organza ribon to finish...

Something special for a lady

Happy Saturday

This week at Allsorts Debs wants us to see a project for a special lady and this week the DT have been able to use some digital images from Sassy studios.

I decided to something diferent with my digis this week and was quite brave (in my eyes) and i decided to try to print onto shrink plastic the image was about 5 inches tall when I started.....

and now its about 1.5 inches tall lol I made it into a handbag charm for my mum for mothers day it was quite easy to do although I did nearly have a heart attack when she folded into a tight swiss roll under the heat gun with her being so large to start with I coloured her with promarkers carefully prior to shrinking and added a few beads I'm really pleased with it and think my mum will really like it

A gift of a challenge - Allsorts

This week at Allsorts Helene wants us to get creative and make a gift box.........

NOw I have to confess I am rubbish at making gift boxes and this is from a die cut sheet of many gift boxes I have in my stash on stand by lol!!!!

The toadstool is a WOJ image and the poppys were white until I coloured them with Khaki promarker a few stamens and some of that fab ribbon and voila.....ahem!

Good morning well i'm going to have to be quick this morning as no ones up yet and i've sneaked out of bed to pop on my post as I am required to stay in bed this morning for tea and toast because its my birthday yipee!!! and i'm also meeting up with lots of friends today at xscape at Castleford for some serious adult only drinking and chatting time.....well needed at the mo I can tell you!!

Another Saturday already and another week at Allsorts

This week Brenda would like you to use a sentiment as the main focus of your project.

I saw this type of card as a sample on create and craft i'm not sure what its called I wouls imagine its similar to a tent card.....I used acetate as its not something i'd normally use but it gives a fab effect with this type of card the sentiment was a freebie from a blog site (i'll try and find the link :) the papers were from a pad I got free with amagazine and they are so pretty I think they are My Minds Eye,

Recycled Allsorts

Good morning

This week we have a recycling theme for you at Allsorts

Helene would like you to have a recycled element on your creation

This card I made for one of Jacks friends who had an accident yesterday and is in hospital :( ....

The ribbon tabs were on a box of chocs from christmas they were quite frayed when I removed them but look ok after a bit of manouvering,

this is a 4.5"x4.5" card and the image is one of those tiny hanglers and its so cute dont you think?

Well I cant remember the last time I posted cards that wern't DT ones but I thought i'd share these commission cards with you They are for a work collegue of my mums and she is going to be the goddmother of three children over the next 2 months!

This card is for the brother of one of the babys being christened as they are both being christened together but as he is 9 I thought a traditional card wouldnt be suitable...

Right i'm off to have a boiled egg for my supper and choose an outfit for tommorrow, off on a rare night out with the OH and some fab friends for a meal at our local Italian tommorrow and i'm treating myself to a hair cut too....lol!

Good morning well the weeks are flying by it doesnt seem two minutes since Christmas and here we are half way through January!

I wanted to give it a distressed and aged feel as the papers were already pretty distressed looking so tried to complement it with some distressed embelishments,

the strip across the bottom has been embossed sanded inked ripped scrunched and re inked to give it some texture then the ribbon was added to reflect this , the ribbon is only taped down oneside this allowed me to twist and place it where I wanted it to go the flowers were inked round the edges although sometimes when I look at it it just looks grubby but maybe thats the effect?

Allsorts Fancy folds

This week at Allsorts its my turn to choose the theme and I have chosen

Fancy Folds

I'd like to see different folds in your card base rather than the normal folded in half card...

I made my crad blank by cutting the front half off a 6x6 and the middle card is a 4.5x4.5 card which has been put in the opposite way round the fairy image is quite new havn't managed to ink her up till now and I went for water colour pencils for a change this time and I'm really pleased with how the colouring turned out I highlighted her with a purple sakura stardust pen some I watered down to brush over her wings to give them a gentle shimmer...

here is a blurry close up (which quite defeats the object)...lol

The papers are from a free My Minds Eye pack I got in a mag which are from the Quite contrary collection and they are soooooo lovely!!!

A few gems and flowers from my stash and a bit of sakura stardust doodling at the corners to finish off....

Lace, Ribbon and a Charm

Now because of the camera angle you cant really see the charm but it is here honest look

Its just hiding thats all lol!

The container was one I bought from ebay and its so nice perfect for decorating I decorated with white lace from wild orchid crafts and ribbon from my stash. The image is one of lili of the valleys die cut christmas fairys this is Rose they are so perfect or quick cards and gifts!

Well its one of those days today i spent last night making sure that the main DT post for my challenge week at Allsorts was ready then forgot to do one for my own blog lol.......

Sorry its late but here is my card for this weeks theme which is this sketch I made

This stamp is one I bought in the Jan sales and i've waited all year to use him and he is just perfect for decoupage the presents are so easy to layer up

And as its christmas I went a little overboard with the fluffy stuff its on everything but I think it gives a great effect and texture.

Then some layered snowflakes using my marianne designs die and some snowflake brads

Week 77 'Twas the night before Christmas'

'The night before christmas'

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow

Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!

On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof

The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

As I drew in my head, and was turning around,

Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,

And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.

A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,

And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.

His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,

And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.

He had a broad face and a little round belly,

That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,

Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.

And laying his finger aside of his nose,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,

"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Well this mouse certainly is stirring as he cartwheels round the house in his wreath lol!

The image is one I have had in my stash box for ages infact most of this card is old stash and scraps.

The ribbon slider looks pretty and is a little deceiving as there are no crystals/jewels on it its made to look like there are though...

I was delighted to be asked to be asked to be a guest designer for Penny Black at Allsorts i'm sure some of you are aware that I stepped down from the original DT due to other commitments but I was asked to be a regular GDT along with some of the other talented Allsorts ladies that also stepped down due to their commitments ...

The theme for November is "it's begining to look a lot like christmas"

I tried to use non traditional colours and give it quite a modern feel...

the image is Penny Black of course and the papers are a mix of DCWV and some I have had in my stash for ages not sure who made them (give me a shout if you recognise them)

sentiment is a rub on and image was coloured with pro markers...

Allsorts week 76 Gold and cream with a hint of red.......

Gold, Cream and a hint of Red

This is a Whiff of Joy image i have had in my stash for a long time she is so elegant. the gold edging was created by running a versamark inkpad round the edge of the image and panels then embossing with gold embossing powder, the flowers were embossed witha versamark pen which gave me added control and a fine nib to create the detail on the petals, it is my first ime trying anything like this but really enjoyed it!!!

I then added the sprigs of gold beads, gold beaded ribon and cream raffia type ribbon which were also from my stash.....

Allsorts Plain and Simple

This weeks its my turn to choose the challenge at Allsorts and the theme I have chosen is

plain and simple

not as easy as you think with the scrummy papers and embelishments available at the moment..

NOw I hang my head in shame as I have had this beautiful Tilda stamp for a couple of months and this is the first time she has seen any ink!!! I love her pose.....

To keep it plain and simple no DP !!

and the pretty ribbon is part of a huge stash my mum got me the ribbon is like an organza but has trails of glitter glue and sequins on it (some other packs of the ribbon has strings of seed beads sewn through it) very different from any ribbon I have seen before she got it from the shop she works at which normally sells house hold items for wait for it ..................................19p per pack of 1.5 metres!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you think you're reading it wrong you better go get your spec's lol!

she bought me quite a few packs (erm ok she cleared the shelf, and they havnt had any more since lol) and as an extra special treat i'm going to give away a little candy 3 packs of glittered/beaded ribbon and a few bits and pieces.....including self adhesive mirror tiles, lace and prima flowers.....

Its the 1st of October and its time for a brand new challenge over at PENNYBLACK@ALLSORTS

The theme is The colours of Autumn

Here is my card and unfortunatley it is my last as an official DT member for PBatA I have decided to step down due to other non crafty commitments but will be joining the PBatA team now and again as an honorary guest designer.......hooray!

The lovely image was given to me by best friend and teamie Kirsten and the papers are all from basic grey the sentiment is from a see-d's set and is fab dont you think...

Allsorts week 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning crafters what a windy week it has been in Yorkshire and i'm sure in many other parts if the blusteryness of this week is anything to go by this is excactly how i felt going to work this week lol

Poor Pooh and Piglet I know exactly how they felt (isnt this a beautiful picture!)

Anyway back to this weeks challenge at Allsorts which has been set by the lovely Fleur she would like to see you using 3 punches on your entries this week...

I used my newest Penny Black stamp which was bought for me by my lovely boss at work who picked it up in the paper mill whilst away for the weekend now she doesnt know much about the type of stamps I use but she said as soon as she saw it she knew i'd love it how kind was that!!!!

Kept to the cool blue theme with plenty of sparkly Diamond stickles the papers are from my stash and are from a craft trip last christmas...

My three punches are

Fiskars - threading water punch

Crafts too you - 1" 6 petal flower

Baker Ross- snowflake punch

Had a great time at the GNPE at Harrogate last weekend and bought tons of ribbon (amongst a heap of other stuff I 'needed') so keep your eyes peeled for tons of the lovely stuff in the next few weeks.

Allsorts week 69 The colours of Autumn

This week its Brendas turn to choose the theme and she would like to see the colours of Autumn on your entries....

I have used one of my all time fav stamps from last years Autumn collection from Whiff of Joy she is fab to colour and if you mask off the leaves she can be used for anything.

The papers are from a 6x4 stack and are the last i had left and they are so nice!!

The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the stems of pearls are from my stash...

I've been playing on my computer tonight making some of the larger sentiments I have been seeing around blogland especially good for the base layer on easel cards.

I'd like to share with you the sheet of sentiments i've created and i'm pretty sure if you click on the pic and save you'll be able to save them on your computers and resize as nessesary in you publishing/printing programs even cut/crop and paste them in a publishing program to add directly to card blanks...

(they will have a white background I think so best to print onto white)

Let me know if they transfer ok and if you use them on any cards please leave me a link so I can visit and take a peek,

also if you do take them so i know if is something thats in demand please leave a comment and add alink in your sidebar as I may do some more...

Week 68 at Allsorts.....New Begginings

Hi Everyone

wow where do the weeks go?????

This week we want you to think about new beginings....

I went with a First christmas tree ornament which is double sided,

I just love this glitter card its encrusted with the most beautiful aqua glitter which everybody in our house is wearing including the cats!!!!

The sweet image is a Digistamp Boutique image and they are also our sponsors this week and it is sooo cute!

(the sentiment was added on the pc)...perfect for this project.....

This week at Allsorts Amanda has challenged us to make a project which is less than 3" square.....

I made a gift tag and added a bit of interest by overlaying/spotlighting the image and only colouring the overlay!

This is such a good way of making a quick card but still keeping that element of interest!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge.......

It has been so nice to get in my craft room this afternoon and make a card just because I could!!!

I have been so busy with card orders and cards for the shop that I forgot how nice it is to just chill and relax....

Ian is at cricket and Jack and a friend are playing in the garden so its all quiet here.......can you hear that ........yep not a dickibird!

I have made this card for this weeks PBSC which is the most fabulous sketch....

The frame is a chipboard shape that I covered in basic grey paper and the flowers were cut from scraps of paper I used for the background I then embossed the reverse of each flower with my ball tool and layered them up with a flower embelishment to finish, the sentiment stamp was a freebie in a magazine i inked it up with two inks brown and black so it wasnt as harsh, if you click on the pic you might me able to see what I mean.... lastly the image is a stickeroo although Jack has just been in and said 'wow! love the colouring mum' he got very close when I told him it was a stickeroo lol.....

Right I think i'm off to find another challenge so I might be back.........

Just a quickie ....I was asked to make some 21st and 16th Birthday cards and thought this image from Kenny K would be perfect.......

I also thought i would join in the Kenny K challenge the challenge theme is Bold and Bright and I think the hot pink matts and those papers would be a good combo!

This weeks challenge is from Kirsten and she would like you to to use either paper piecing or piercing on your projects this week.....

I chose Paper Piecing this is one of my favourite teqniques because it gives such a great effect....

I paper pieced her dress and socks with paper from the in love with Japan stack from wild rose studios i used this also for the rest of the card....the flowers were cut from an offcut from the same pad..
