Week 59 at Allsorts..... Create a scene!

Another gorgeous week of weather in Leeds!
and to top the week off we have a great theme this week at Allsorts from Brenda and she would like you to...
Create a Scene

This week I tried my hand at merging digital images or rather using more than one on my image,
 I used

and

Both Images are from Digistamp Boutiqueand were so easy to use and resize
here is the card I made...

I really wanted to do some kind of water effect and I remember seeing this card on Emma Lockley's blog  a long time a go in one of our early Allsorts challenges  and wanted to give it a try.......

The wooden effect on the front is strips of brown paper I inked the edges and drew woodgrain on them with a sakura stardust pen for extra sparkle then cut through all the layers with a circle nestie to make the porthole.... I made a mirricard frame and embossed the 'rivets' then filled a  grip seal bag with hair gel and secured it in place with pinflair glue gel (bestest stuff ever)
i covered the reverse with a sheet of blue card with the same sized hole so you could see right through to the image on the inside of the card.....
I resized Finnley and flipped him so it could look like a small shoal of Finnleys swimming round the gorgeous Kira a bit of sakura sparkle and voila!!!!!
It would be great to see your
'create a scene' cards and dont forget the...
Challenge started on thursday and the theme is a burst of summer colour so get over there and enter this month for a chance to win one of four fab prizes including a months GDT place!!!!!!!
see the previous post for my DT card for the PB at Allsorts challenge ...

Thanks for stopping by...
