I really enjoyed this sketch... I used a new (for me) hanglar image which i coloured with both pro-markers and water colour pencils! as i dont have enough pm colours yet...the background is hand stamped with an art impressions stamp and pink and green papermania ink pads.......which I also used to ink round my image, mat, and cardstock....buttons and paper border are from my stash and the sentiment is made using doodlebug stick it's and sugar glitter these are fab i got the stick it's from my local craft shop ages ago and forgot i had them, they were a bargain at £2.99 for two sheets of about 3 sets of alphabets! for anyone who hasn't seen them they are double sided sticky letters you stick on to card/acetate anything really! then remove the top layer and sprinkle with glitter or loose flock they are fab!
.........and this is my card for the Penny Black Saturday challenge....

Need to get some more sentiment stamps as I am not liking my handwritten ones!!!!!!
Note to self....must remember to take big box of 'mansize' tissues to work tom lol!!!!!!!
I used FF image which i decided to colour grey think it works though! and gingham papers some scraps of papermania white core card stock and embossed them using my cuttlebug 'tiny bubbles' folder sentiment was printed from pc.....and added a few accent clear rainbow drops.
Second card was an image sent to me in blog candy from Dawn ....(its gorgeous)

So i challenged myself to make a mens card as I always struggle with them it also happens to be my brother in laws birthday in January so i thought I would use this as inspiration.
My card blank is corrugated card which I gave a double spine to give the appearance of a book and the image was one given to me by my friend Kirsten I watercoloured it which was a little fiddly! and matt and layered onto papermania white core card stock and papers which i believe are DCWV which I lightly sanded with a fine emery board then added some small gold brads and a sentiment strip. Thanks for looking.........
