PBSC male christmas card

I have made this card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and they challenged us to make a male christmas card......

So I used this oppertunity to make my oh's christmas card

He doesn't really do fussy so I kept it simple

using papers I got from my goody bag in Skipton I scrunched them up (gasp!!!) to give them a bit of texture then inked round the edge with versa colour ink, a few gems and a computer generated sentiment using 'LD going nuts' font (hmm thinking this could have been a bit bigger may need to buy him a magnifying glass to lol!!)

Allsorts week 27

This week at Allsorts it is my turn to set the challenge and I think it is very fitting as I seem to have heard some very upsetting stories regarding children over the past few weeks especially through fellow bloggers and I thought it would be nice to make something for a child you know and pass it on to them.......

the theme this week at Allsorts is

For a child

This can be anything you like as long as it is to be given to a child.....

I made another easel card I think they are very effective and this sweet image 'George' from Digistamp Boutique the papers are Basic Grey and the image is coloured with promarkers which is also the prize this week a set of 4 of the luvvly jubblies!!!!!

Great Layout, and a little colour tip

I saw the layout for this card on Jacky's blog and asked her if she didnt mind me using it, she said I was welcome to, so made this sweet card with this gorgeous hanglar image....


now I used Forest green and ruby promarkers to colour her coat and trousers but didnt have any darker colours to shade her with so I tried Cool grey 4 just on the darker areas and went over again with the forest green or ruby to blend and was really pleased with the results.....
