Bloomin Allsorts

Good Morning

It doesn't seem two minutes since I was writing last weeks post and being all excited about going to see the Westlife concert live at the cinema it was fantastic! we had such a good night it was like being at the actual concert, fans clapping and chanting and singing along it was a great evening...

Ok onto my DT card this week for Allsorts and Helene's theme this week is

IN BLOOM

and here's my card with another Some Odd girl Image Spunky Sprite
I love sitting her on sentiments  and decided on  a non conventional hair colour as she is a fairy after all!
The flowers were made from a Shapeabilities flower creations die I cut three flowers each from a peach and deep cream card stock and rolled each petal round my pokey tool as that's the thinnest tool i had this gave the petals the daisy feel i diecut a small circle for the centre and burnished the reverse with my ball tool to give it a domed effect i repeated the same process with the small dots in the corner these were cut with a bog standard office hole punch. the design paper is from Papermania and Spunky is coloured with promarkers.

Well i've nothing exciting planned today we do however have a rugby game to watch this morning courtesy of Jack and tomorrow we are at a christening so hopefully the weather stays nice for both but ill not count on it lol!
Have a lovely weekend everyone

Some Odd girl for Allsorts

Hi there and good morning!

Hop direct to the challenge blog

Another challenge card from me today for Allsorts
The theme from the lovely Jo is
'Any die will do'
we want to see lots of dies used on your creations

This is Beach Babe Kaylee and I love colouring her in!!!! you can find her in the SOG store HERE and there's a whopping 25% off this digi image at the moment so $2.25 and so worth it :) ....

Ok the sea and sand were coredinations flower power just measured to the right width and ripped now I know i'm not a rippy kind of crafter but it was an instant sand and water effect with minimum effort and it looks great (imo of course) the sky I made myself on the computer as I didn't have any paper left like this and I didn't want just a plain sky! (not bad eh), the flowers were die-cut from plain white card then coloured shaded and shaped using a ball tool the foliage was die cut from the cordinations too i'm wishing now i'd popped a flower in her hair too I may do that this afternoon ;)

Have a lovely day and I hope you get some crafting done ill leave you with a little clue as to what i'm doing tonight...............

Yes that's right i'm off to watch the live farewell Westlife concert! They are showing the Dublin concert live in cinemas tonight but it was so booked out in leeds that we could only get tickets in Harrogate but we do have VIP seats and I cant wait!

I'll let you know how it goes!!!!!

Challenge 159 - Paper piecing/piercing

Good morning time for another installment at Allsorts
This weeks theme is from the lovely Nicola and she would like to see
Paper piecing/piercing
on your projects...

I have had so many baby cards to make in the past few weeks mostly for customers  and this image has been a life saver...
Sweet little Baby Jack from Crafters Companion from their Humphreys Corner collection he is so sweet and looks fab in pink too!
Scraps today so not too sure about the papers, I have obscurred the sentiment details as they contain dates and weights etc and is not my info to share ;)
The flowers i made from a die cut circle I cut my own spiral and rolled them up so much better because they coordinate perfectly with the DP, a few pink gems too...

I'm afraid its beginning to look like I cant make a card without Kraft featuring somewhere and i'm running out roll on Harrogate in October lol!

Have a great weekend and if your in the UK I hope this horrible weather we are expecting doesn't dampen your spirits....
