Case it for Allsorts

This week at Allsorts its my turn to choose the challenge a little bitter sweet this week too as the lovely Fleur has left the DT and I wish her all the luck in the world with her future crafty career.  We do have two new DT members Tracy and Sarah starting next week more about that over at the main challenge blog. 

This week is a case it challenge I have uploaded one of my cards previously posted on my blog and the challenge is to use it to make your own card you can use the layout ,colours, theme, image interpret  it however you would like to :)

This is the card I made to case the one above

not that different lol! I even fornd the same sentiment stamp!, a few added ribbons and different flowers and those fab papers give it a girly feel I quite like it but don't know which one I like more which is your favourite?

Allsorts Challenge note cards

Good morning time for another Allsorts share

This weeks theme was distressing! now i'm not quite a distressed kind of crafter more clean lines  so it was a challenge for me so my distressing is of a minimum level lol :)

this week we also have a new sponsor who kindly let us pick some stamps to play with

Amongst my stamps was this cutie! as I said my distressing is minimal but I did distress the  edges of the Dp mounts and scrunch them and ink them (honest!!!) you can see it better on the blue one.

So a set of three 4x4 note cards was my DT piece this week what will you distress?

Quick card this evening with an image I coloured last week

this is Rainbow fairy from the new digi release at Some Odd Girl

Bit of a funny angle but wanted to capture the glitter, free hand glitter background and glitter borders for the mats and some basic grey papers to finish off no embelishments tonight thought the glitter was enough :)

A Challenge for the Allsorts DT

Good Morning

This week at Allsorts we were challenge by the lovely B to make a card with a lovely kit she sent us all

we could use as much or as little as we liked it was such a fun challenge and something  a little different for us all...

I used so tweet Kayleigh from SOG and all the rest was the kit from B now the challenge at Allsorts is to use the kit or a DT card for inspiration cant wait to see what happens

Red white and Blue at Allsorts

Well today's challenge is red white and blue over at Allsorts and i'm  ready to support team GB!

this is the fabulous Jasper from Digistamp Boutique who are also our sponsors this week doesn't he look proud waving his little flag.

This is the card I made for my brothers birthday he has just got back from a trip to London he was visiting friends so thought this would be quite appropriate...

Sketch challenge at SOG

I have quickly made this card using the sketch over at the Some Odd Girl  Sketch Challenge

The girls are really flexible with the sketch as you can see my oval wouldn't fit at the bottom so used is as part of the sentiment frame its been really good to have a bit extra time this week for crafty time :)

A little bit more odd girl

Just a quickie share tonight as I have been playing with some new SOG images now I dont know about you but if you have tried SOG images theres just something about them they are so lovely to colour and bold enough to stand alone on a card, they stand up to bold prints yet have a shy sweet persona that is so endearing....

The bols papers are some fab ones from Craftwork cards Vintage Rose Paper Pack and the flower was made using 4 layers of dp from the same pack with 5 smaller daisies cut from matching coredinations and shaped with my ball tool for the centre :)
