Anything but a square for Allsorts :)

Good morning and I hope the weather is warm and sunny where you are we have had some great weather this week in Leeds and long may it continue.....

Ok onto this weeks card for Allsorts, Fleur would like you to make a card thats

'anything but a square'

so this was a chance for me to play with my new nesties that I got from Harrogate GNPE

I am realy pleased with the shape and the nesties are now my favourite the papers are from a DCWV pack I think I may have to check....

The image is the beautiful pen pal from sugar nellie and this image is one of the reasons i love Aquamarkers the colours stay so vibrant something I have trouble with with normal water colours.. a quick LOTV sentiment stamp and some prima and e-line flowers to finish.

Allsorts Challenge 4

Good Morning!!!

Time for this weeks Allsorts challenge which is Pink and White and has been set by Lisa...

I really enjoy using this colour combo and I am also really enjoying being part of the Allsorts design team they are a fab bunch and i'm having a blast.......thanks girls!!!!

This is the first time I have used this stamp and i love her she is from Sugar Nellie and was a joy to colour in! ( with promarkers ) the flowers were part of my birthday pressie from my bestest friend Kirsten (thanks hun) and the ticket was originally a tan colour so I gave it a promarker make over and was quite pleased with the result!!

This card I made for Penny Black Saturday which was 'buttons galore'

I think the image is called nap time it has been coloured with my promarkers and mounted on a mix of Basic Grey ( pink ) and K and co (green and pink foliage papers) buttons from my stash and sentiment was computer generated...



This is my card for this weeks colour create challenge which is Lemon, pink sorbet and chocolate! mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

The image is sugar Nellie and again I have coloured with promarkers (Lemon,blossom and cinnamon) a few sparkles and primas from my stash....

Penny black saturday and TYI

Two challenges again today .........

Firstly Penny Black Saturday which this week was a sketch and here is my take on it........

I wc my image with wc pencils and the papers are Basic Grey and papermania white core card stock..ribbon,brads jewels and embelishments from my stash

well I think this is such a romantic image i love every thing about this stamp from sugar nellie the artist is Elizabeth bell who has some stunning drawings that she is turning into our most well loved stamps......

The sugar bowl challenge 4 'one' and o/h valentines card

Hi I decided to try this weeks challenge over at the sugar bowl this weeks challenge was to use only one peice of patterned paper.........just one!!!

My paper is from Pink Petticoat and it is big dots in tangerine...

orange card stock,ribbon and metal edged tag is SU.......

I coloured my image with pro-markers

And this is my other halfs valentines card

I hope you dont think it is too plain its just that he is not a fussy person so a plain simple straight to the point card is what I have chosen!

letters are doodlebug 'stick with it' double sided adhesive stickers which i glittered using sugared glitter and the image is a forever friends sticker......
