House Mouse Challenge

Just a quick one before I go to bed this is my entry for this weeks house mouse challenge which is a get well card, I dont have any get well images so i'm calling this one 'under the weather' lol

I thinks its a bit too plain but i can sort that out with some swirly stamps but for now it's time for bed!

Penny Black and Sketch Saturday

Well I'm feeling a little better and even more so when I get rid of this inner ear infection, virus and dizzyness lol just a few ailments then eh!

Well should be back on track in no time once i've finished my tablets ..that the kind doctor gave me that I can't drink with so no lovely glass of wine for me this weekend!!

I'd like to thank you for all your kind messages wishing me well it is much appreciated and I felt a whole lot better for reading them...

Right back to challenges and because I am way behind this week i have done a 2 in 1

with Penny Black Saturday Challenge and Sketch Saturday...

The theme at PBSC was anything goes so I did a colour themed card using this weeks sketch over at SSC wasn't to sure about the sketch at first but once I got going it was great, really enjoyed it...

I used forever friends papers and papermania whitecore card stock...the image was coloured with my pm's,border punch is threading water by fiskars and a few dew drops to finish

I just visited my crafty friend Kirstens Blog and she had created an amazing card for the new Just Magnolia Challenge .....she inspired me to have a go....

the challenge was a sketch...

I used pro markers to colour my image and the papers are Basic grey the prima flowers are from the 'mommy and me' collection

Penny Black Saturday and Dare U 2 Digi Stamp

Two challenges today!

The First is PBSC this week it was a fab sketch and I really enjoyed using it.

The papers are Forever friends and the red card ( well it wasnt until I got my pro-markers on it) went through my big shot with an embossing folder a few dew drops to finish and a lily of the valley sentiment.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge was to use pink and green

the download is from the 'hopppy wishes for him' from Pink Petticoat gingham paper is FF again and rest is from my stash......

woj black and white buzzzzzzz!

I made this card for the WOJ challenge which was to use black and white and a splash of one accent colour...........I thought i would try something really different and took my inspiration from .....yes you've guessed it a bee lol!.......

I tried to carry the raindrops onto the back ground and cut out the image with my nesties (curved rectangles)

then stamped the image again over the flower to give a little bit of extra detail a few dew drops and stickles for that finishing touch!

Dont you just love this stamp she is the first WOJ stamp that I actually bought myself i had my eye on her for ages and finally had the chance to buy her in Harrogate.....

Creative card crew chalenge monotone

This is the card I made for the Creative Card Crew Challenge the monotone theme was Black White and Silver/Grey......

I used my Anya stamp as she hasnt been inked up much at all poor thing!!

Her clothes,hairband and shopping bags have all been paperpieced....yes it was fiddly but totally worth it!!

Her hair has been watercoloured and then 'highlighted with a black sakura glaze pen... a few gems and one of my new prima flowers...

An honerable Penny Black Challenge!!

Good Evening!!!

Wow have I had a busy week and not even any time for crafting!

well I had to sneak up to the 'ol' craft room or I would have started with withdrawl symptoms!!

I would normally post my Penny Black challenge with my TYI tag but as I am sure you are all aware the TYI challenge is no more and I bid it a fond farewell......sniff!!

so here is my Penny black challenge piece all on its lonesome....

The theme this week is a gift........ now I decided on a gift tag so I hope thats ok and its also in honour of TYI!

The papers of the sour cream container and the flower are from the 'one in a melon' collection from Pink Petticoat they are so fab and so easy to use great for spring and sumer stuff,

the image is coloured with a mix of water colour pencils and sakura stardust pens ( I love these for a bit of instant glitz) a few mini flowers and a scrap of ribbon from my stash,

a few jump rings to attatch it and hey presto!!!

This weeks challenge was Easter now we know easter has been and gone ( there was a mix up with the dates lol)

Color create challenge and sketch saturday

This week on colour create challenge the colours were duck egg blue and rose pink!

Well i had to use my new K&Co papers I picked up in Harrogate these were a bargain! 6 pads for £10 at the Hobby house stall.....
I have water coloured my image and just layered it simply so not to take any attention away from the gorgeous papers....a couple of primas and a charm from my stash.....

The sketch over at sketch saturday was also fab to work with I turned it on its side though as I had already coloured this image and it fit better this way.

papers are .....yep youv'e guessed it basic grey grey card stock is papermania and the little boat was cut out of the same paper the charm has turned around and i hadnt realised but it is a cap!!

My tag has been cut out with my nesties and so has this gorgeous cake .....papers and image are pink petticoat ......the image I glittered and inked....... die cut letters are sizzix'first steps'........ribbon is from my stash and sentiment is computer generated.....
