Week 20 at Allsorts

Well its week 20 at Allsorts already, its going so fast!, must be because of all the fun we are having lol!!

Ok this weeks challenge is from Lisa and she challenged us to use Autumn as our inspiration there is also a fab prize available from a new sponsor The Craft Garden

This is my fav image from the WOJ fall kit she is so beautiful!

I stamped round the edge of the image with the pumpkin stamp from the same kit and coloured with promarkers the papers were given to me by the fab Kirsten and I think they are from a company in the US, wow they are so rich and were perfect for this challenge.........

I found some great card for printing your dp's on its from Photo paper direct they have loads of great paper products to choose from including speciality papers such as magnetic paper and

Its a great weight and gave a fab finish to my digi papers definitely one to keep for those special cards so soft to touch too gave my digi papers that real strokeability factor that we all love lol!!

I made this fun sliding image card for my Nephew and I think the flowers are very funky.....

Papers are from the DCWV blossoms and butterflies stack and the letters are believe it or not are just clear and silver peel offs layered over co-ordinating DCWV papers!

Double Pocket Gift Bag Tutorial

Well I have never tried a tutorial before so please accept my apologies if it is confusing in any way I have tried to give clear instructions....

Forever Friends Black white and a colour of your choice!

This weeks challenge at Forever Friends is a colour combo

Well for me it was definitely Pink!!!!

WOJ teal and Orange!!!!! help!!!!

Well just a quickie post this evening to post the card I made for this weeks WOJ challenge the DT would like you to use.......................wait for it ...............TEAL and ORANGE!!!!

This is what I came up with and its also my first attempt using 2 stamps together on one image rather than cutting one out to stick over the other one....which I am very pleased with and will definitely be using this teqnique again.....

Papers are basic grey and the sentiment is a gel sticker I mounted on white card and then onto one edged in the teal colour.

Allsorts week18 My sketch

This week at Allsorts its my turn to choose the challenge this week I have made a sketch and chosen a 'two colour of your own choice' theme.

I chose to use this fab Claire image again from mo manning I love her she is so sweet and chose Pink and Cream. I paper pieced her nightdress and pillow with papers from a free craft cd I got in a magazine!!

The prize this week is an image folder and a selection of prima flowers

Anyone for Anya

This is the double pocket gift bag I made for this weeks anyone for Anya challenge it is perfect for 3x3 cards and envelopes as small gift set and would hold 3 envelopes and 3 cards or it would be perfect as an image folder.

The challenge was to use bows brads or buttons

I chose a bow and this fab Anya digi download, this double pocket bag is made from 1 whole sheet of 12x12 design paper and is so easy to make I saw it on another blog a while ago but never saved the link :(

A side view so you can see the 3 folds at the base that help it to stand up.

And from this angle you can see the double pocket

Papers areBasic Grey Euphoria and the ribbon is from *Hobbycrap ( *as Dawny P calls it lol!!!)

Forever Friends Gift Challenge

This is a Small Baby gift basket I though I could fill it with all those little travel sized baby goodies for my friend to take into hospital, then she doesnt have to lug around all the full sized stuff lol!!

Really simple layout today beacause I didnt want to take anythig away from this adorable image from Mo Manning I have had it for weeks and have been saving it for this challenge,The papers are from Summer Driggs and just added a few raindrops to match the crayon colours this card will be personalised further for my friends little boy whos birthday is at the end of September, he's such a cheeky chap and I love him to bits..lol

Just a quick post as its getting on for 1.30 am!! doesnt time fly when your having fun ( and OH is at work doing an extra night shift...)

The theme at Papertake weekly is Angels/ Fairies

I used this beautiful Melinda blowing Kisses image from the Whiff Of Joy Guardian Angels collection......
Papers are some freebies I found on a cd from a craft mag and image is coloured with promarkers.....the heart was cut by hand and I punched two holes so I could thread some ribbon through the ribbon was on a gift box...

I'm also entering this as another entry for the WOJ GDT call

Funky Hand Challenge

I thought I would try a new challenge this evening and as I was getting some more christmas stash out I found my Yule Be Funky CD from the Lovely Anice over at Funky Hand that I won over at Penny Black Saturday in January and it hadnt been used!!!! well I must say that although there are christmas themed papers on there most of them can be used for everyday crafting too and come in around 9/10 colour colours I love them!!!!!

I decided to make a christmas card as I am looking for some clean,quick and simple designs to make for the christmas fair my friend has at her nursery and with all the colour designs on the CD I will be spoilt for choice..

The image was ....can you believe it a freebie stamp that came with six other stamps on this months Card Making and Papercrafts Mag they are so sweet you will definitley be seeing more of him, coloured with my usual promarkers and the metal snowflake is from last years christmas stash........
