Penny black saturday and sketch saturday

1 card for 2 challenges this afternoon.........I have entered this card for Penny Black saturday using the sketch from sketch saturday!!!

The theme this week over at Penny Black saturday Challenge is 'something to eat' so i chose this fun pb image and coloured it with pro markers ( please bear with me with my photos as i have had to start using a new photo editing program...lol...) papers are basic grey and the stitching has been drawn on using my letraset fine liner .....sentiment is also penny black

I'll be back soon with TYI (sorry Kath didn't quite manage it this week Lol!!)

Colour create week 4 pink and grey

This is the card I made for this weeks colour create challenge the theme this week was Pink and Grey............

I have used my brand spanking newPP papers in Putty and Pink (Fleur) arn't they gorgeous I love them.......... The image is Willow from WOJ which i have coloured using Promarkers and wc pencils

NB (this is not some funky fusion of pm and wc pencils i'm trying out, I just need to pull my finger out and invest in some grey pm's .....lol!!!)

sorry the card is on a bit of an angle but i was trying to capture some of the sparkle from the stickles

Ok are you sitting comfortably.....then i'll begin (lol sounds like jackanory!).....

PBSC .........This Card is the card I made for the challenge over at Penny Black saturday The theme was get well soon...... I have used this cute mouse image and all papers are from The Blossoms and Butterflies stack from DCWV the scalloped chip board was in blog candy I won from Dawn........sentiment is computer generated.....

TYI..........This is my Tag for TYI this week..... the challenge this week is swirls and circles you had to use at least one of each on your tag but the theme and colour scheme is up to you !! been in the blossom and butterflies DCWV stack again for this one the embossed butterfly is from a cuttle bug folder.......Butterfly is a clear peel off mounted onto tiny dots DCWV paper from same stack

WOJ.........And finally this is my entry for the DT call over at Whiff of Joy There is a fab sketch if you want to visit there is a link towards the bottom of my side bar....... the papers are basic grey and i coloured my image with pro markers isn't this image gorgeous!! she is one of the new spring set from WOJ and they are all fab!.......sentiment is lili of the valley..

I have been blog hopping a lot recently and I am seeing lots of fabulous spring blog makeovers...beautiful,beautiful blogs!!

then I head home to mine and although I love it its a little dark and wintery so i would love to change it for something a little more 'spring like' with a brown, mint and pink theme (and butterflies..of course lol!!) so I maybe wouldn't have to change my header (as this was one I bought as I am much too rubbish to make my own... hmmm! maybe I should try that again this aft) so if you know of any free sites apart from 'the cutest blog on the block' as i have scoured their files lol I would be grate ful if you would give me a nudge in the right direction......

Just a Quickie....FF DT card

Just a quickie tonight..... this was my card for this weeks challenge over at Forever Friends this week our theme is 'general birthday' and here is my card......
The papers i have used are all from Pink Petticoat and are from the fab melon collection which is still my absolute fave!!!!!!!! my image is coloured withPM and I have paper pieced the balloon but now it looks like a scary eye aaahhhhhhh!! lol

Two challenges again today .........

Firstly Penny Black Saturday which this week was a sketch and here is my take on it........

well I think this is such a romantic image i love every thing about this stamp from sugar nellie the artist is Elizabeth bell who has some stunning drawings that she is turning into our most well loved stamps......

The sugar bowl challenge 4 'one' and o/h valentines card

Hi I decided to try this weeks challenge over at the sugar bowl this weeks challenge was to use only one peice of patterned paper.........just one!!!

My paper is from Pink Petticoat and it is big dots in tangerine...

orange card stock,ribbon and metal edged tag is SU.......

I coloured my image with pro-markers

And this is my other halfs valentines card

I hope you dont think it is too plain its just that he is not a fussy person so a plain simple straight to the point card is what I have chosen!

letters are doodlebug 'stick with it' double sided adhesive stickers which i glittered using sugared glitter and the image is a forever friends sticker......

FF DT card and new Pink Petticoat challenge!!

Hi two challenges to post tonight first is my DT card for this weeks FF challenge this weeks theme was valentines tried a new twist to my little bears this week and I wc him black and the champagne is a lovely rose` lol to match the papers I used which were a free down load from funky fairy they have some fab papers in there on line shop too!!!

And the next challenge was from Liz over at the Pink Petticoat blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The challenge is to make these gorgeous little gift boxes there is a little tutorial on the blog but they are mega easy to make all you have to do is make them with PP papers there is a fab prize too!!! please pop over and check it out.......These little gift boxes I have made using my absolute fav PP paper download this is just a taster of 'one in a melon' it is so gorgeous and vibrant and i'll let you into a little secret it is my 30th birthday on the 12th March and that weekend i'm having a party and these papers have inspired my colour scheme for the balloons and decs, these will be little surprise pressies to go on the tables filled with sweet treats lol!!!

I used a sarah kay image which I coloured with my pro-markers and the card stock is papermania white core....which was put through a cuttlebug embossing folder...
