Papertake weekly gorjuss sketch!

Well this is my second week as a GDT for papertake weekly and I am really enjoying the challenges so far this week is a fab sketch from the super talented Dawny P .......

I dont normally use blue but I really wanted to do something different with this beautiful image and I am really pleased with how it turned out.... The papers are from the fabulous Pink Petticoat and the glitter board I dug out of my stash........

Early bird Passion for pro markers and Just magnolia ........

Well the early bird catches the worm as they say..............

This is my card for this weeks Passion for Promarkers which is to use Moss and Poppy I have teamed it with the sketch over at Just Magnolia..........

This image reminds me of that old song Ladybird...Ladybird fly away home so I used it as the sentiment although this did mean handwriting it !!! leaves were a gift from my lovely friend Kirsten and papers are basic grey, tiny ladybird is from my stash............

Phewwww!!!

Lots of sketch challenges this week good for keeping the old brain ticking over lol!!!

This week was a fab sketch for PBSC and I went out on a limb and tried a different colour combo with some basic grey papers as the inspiration.........

These papers are great especially the one I used at the back it has tiny pink flamingos and giraffes on it!!

I really like the colouring on the image this week too! really enjoying my promarkers at the moment.................

(sorry about the wonky brown ribbon it totally had a mind of its own....lol)

It was a great excuse to get the mirriboard out too! Image is charlie and the papers and metal snowflakes are from my stash....

Good Morning Allsorts challenge 7!!!

Wow week 7 already, its true that time really does fly when you are having fun!!!!!!!

This weeks challenge is by the fabulously talented Jackie and her challenge is to use acetate on your creation........

I made this little 5x5 dream book ,Image is Hanglar and I handstamped the background with a freebie swirl stamp I received with a mag a few months ago, cut two 5x5 covers from acetate inked the edge of a ticket to match the edge of the card stock punched through all the layers and added two rings

My first card is for penny black saturday (embossing) and sketch saturday

I just had to use this dp I found sad and unused in my drawer its so nice don't know how it got overlooked!!

This card is for Passion for promarkers (meadow green and lemon) and creative card crew(whatever the weather)

I used some basic grey papers and this is for the hot weather we are all looking forward to this summer!!

These are the cards I made for Fathers day for Jack to give to his grandad's

The first one is My DT Peice for Forever Friends this week the challenge this week is to use torn edges.............

Sticking with the Forever friends theme and because I love this image reminds me of a grandad and grandson ........ not sure who papers are by though as they are some of the first I ever bought!!!!

Tried a different fold on this really pleased with the result!!

The Challenge this week along with the most fabulous prizes I have ever seen is to make something for a celebration...

I have started with the front cover of a baby book I am making for a friend who is expecting a little girl very soon........

I will be filling the baby book in stages so will post with new developments but I had to use this image it is so sweet, she is coloured with pro markers the albumn ans embelishments are from a mini scrapbook I received in my very first Candy win from Dawn over at Crafty Ramblings and it is perfect.......

Forever friends Challenge A sketch

This week on Forever friends we have a great sketch from Sandra .......

I rotated the sketch as the text would have been on the bottom and I thought it would look great on the side...

This is my favourite Forever Friends stamp It is so cute and very vesatile I am going to use it for the fathers day cards I need to make but just by adding a few flowers its great for a girls card too.....

I used Pm's to colour my image papers are pink petticoat thanks a melon collection,few rainbow drops and text ticket (also coloured with pm's)from stash..

This is the card I made for my OH birthday last week its I made it using the colours of his favourite Rugby League team 'Castleford Tigers'

The great Hanglar image was again sent by Kirsten :)

The image is coloured with promarkers and I decided to make a triangle shaped card but you can use tringle shapes, embelishments etc...

I used this super cute image to make a tag fro my Brothers present, his birthday is the 4th of July (American independance day) so this challenge was perfect ...

Image is coloured with Promarkers, I added a few co-ordinating ribbons to the ring for decoration and a few foil stars for that added bit of birthday bling!!!!

Great combination guys and this is the first gorjuss girl to appear on my blog and I waited a long time but thanks to my bestest bud Kirsten I now have a little collection of gorjussness...thanks hun!!!!!

Penny Black Saturday and Forever Friends DT

This is my card for the Penny Black Saturday challenge this weeks challenge was called 'blooming gorgeous' and this is my take on the theme....

I coloured this sweet image with promarkers and the flowers and card candy were from craft work cards, papers and felt trim from my stash.

This is my DT peice for Forever Friends this week was my challenge and the theme is 'Citrus Twist....use citrus colours on your entry'

I could'nt get the image of pink grapefruit out of my head once I named my challenge so I thought it best to go with it.....I used basic grey papers for the background and stamped my FF image on to green papermania white core card stock added the huge very 'lime' green flower and a circle of the same backing paper to mount my image......... a bit of paper peicing and edge inking and voila..

Allsorts Challenge 4

Good Morning!!!

Time for this weeks Allsorts challenge which is Pink and White and has been set by Lisa...

I really enjoy using this colour combo and I am also really enjoying being part of the Allsorts design team they are a fab bunch and i'm having a blast.......thanks girls!!!!

This is the first time I have used this stamp and i love her she is from Sugar Nellie and was a joy to colour in! ( with promarkers ) the flowers were part of my birthday pressie from my bestest friend Kirsten (thanks hun) and the ticket was originally a tan colour so I gave it a promarker make over and was quite pleased with the result!!

Make way for the new kid on the Block....lol

Well I have spent the best part of the afternoon with Jack (who is 7) watching through squinted eyes as he rifled through my craft stuff to make a card for his dad's birthday tommorow he chose all his things and do you know he has done a fantastic job (he loves crafty stuff and thats what he asked santa for last christmas) in fact he was so pleased 'he' decided he 'needed' a blog

He takes his own photos too as you can see lol.....!

The colours this week are Pastel Pink and Apple ..............

Quick card today as im full of cold despite the beautiful weather and trying to get better for tomorrow when I go out for Ian's Birthday, must not be well because I was supposed to be taking myself off to Hobby craft today with some vouchers I got for my birthday in March... but just couldnt face it!!!!!!!! (shock horror)
