This weeks challenge over at Whiff of joy is stars and stripes.....

I embossed the stripes using my card folding board and the stars( yes I know they are tiny lol! but wanted to keep a minimalist feel to the card...)are tiny gems... this is the first time I have coloured this image and I quite like the green theme.... inked a little heavy round the edges hadn't planned to I wanted to leave it white but my clear plate had a mark from a nestie on it and it marked the image when I used it so its a bit of a cover up job i'm afraid!

What a lovely layout, it just goes to show you don't have to go mad with layers and embellies to achieve a beautiful card!
